MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Rayya Labib, who is based in Mumbai in an interview to the digital media outlet IndyaTv.IN on Saturday said that she has set up an NGO to help Assamese teenagers and teenagers with education related problems and issues.
“Kids should get a sound education and practical vocational training to make them financially independent. Without financial independence, both young men and young women are at risk of other associated problems like drug or alcohol addiction, depression and other social evils. I am setting up an NGO to help teenagers and youngsters with such education and job-related problems,” Rayya told IndyaTv.IN last week.
Rayya Labib is a Bollywood actor of Assamese descent. While some media reports claim she was born abroad and has a long story of her childhood, she has claimed in interviews that she is Assamese and is proud of the place she was born and spent her childhood in. Read more
